Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Timeline

Bitcoin is the first package and gained significance when pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin white paper. There are history and story behide/before this cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. And blockchain now, can apply to many industry and may be can change the world. Let see the timeline.

• 1991: Stuart Haber and W. Scott Stornetta described the first work on a cryptographically secured chain of blocks

• 1992: Bayer, Haber and Stornetta incorporated Merkle trees to the blockchain as an efficiency improvement to be able to collect several documents into one block.

• 1998: Wei Dai, introducing the concept of B-money (anonymous, distributed electronic cash system).

• 2008: package and gained significance when pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin white paper
